Bill Ewing, Jr.

Bill Ewing, Jr. is the current president and CEO. He is a 1989 Graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science. Bill began his career in the construction industry working at ECCI during summers and after school. Upon graduating, he joined the company and has been instrumental in ECCI’s growth. With 20-years of experience in the construction industry, he has held various positions while at ECCI serving as Senior Vice President, Project Manager, and Estimator as well as working in Office Management, Insurance, Accounting, Banking, Bonding and Risk Management. He is a registered license agent in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Arizona.
Bill is also active in the Texas community. He serves on the board of Building Code Board of Appeals in Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University’s 12th Man Formation Advisory Group. He has had the proud distinction of serving on the Corpus Christi boards of Associated Builders and Contractors, Building Standards Board, and the Electrical Advisory Board. He is also member of the St. Thomas Moore Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

Roddy Black

Roddy Black has served the construction industry for over 15 years with his career focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental Management. Roddy completed specialized training at Texas A&M University, the University of California in San Diego, and the University of Texas. Prior to joining the ECCI team, he served as Safety Director for a large industrial contractor and also worked on the British Petroleum project in Prudhoe Bay Alaska. During his career, he has managed all aspects of worker safety and health programs. Roddy currently serves as Vice President and Safety Director for ECCI, a position that keeps him in constant contact with our field operations. |

Phil Amos

With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Phil Amos is an invaluable member of the ECCI team. Phil has performed various roles which range from senior project manager to construction manager to owner. As former president and founder of Diversicom Site Development, Phil Amos has managed several projects ranging from $3 - $30 million. Additionally, Phil served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Stanley Tools. Phil came on board in 2005 as Vice President and Director of Business Development, overseeing the company’s strategic sales and marketing efforts. He has led the successful negotiation of agreements for Ewing with a wide variety of clients, and has provided strong leadership in marketing, business development and strategic planning. Phil holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Sam Houston State University, and an MBA from St. Louis University. |

John P. (J.P) McGill

J.P McGill is an experienced construction professional with over 29 years in the industry. J.P joined the team in 1998 with experience as a project manager, estimator, project engineer, superintendent, carpenter, and is now responsible for overseeing and managing all Project Managers for Ewing Construction. |

Carl O. (Trey) Falk III

Trey Falk has over 11 years of experience, specializing in safety in the construction industry. Trey has been responsible for the oversight and implementation of all phases of safety programs for job sites and bid proposals and has overseen safety and loss prevention for nearly 500 construction and maintenance personnel. Trey has been involved in various project types including grassroots, expansions, revamp modernization’s maintenance turnarounds, and general process plant maintenance. Process plant types include, refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants, and offshore process platforms. |

Bart Griffin is currently the General Superintendent and Warranty Coordinator at Ewing Construction. Bart joined the team in 2000 and has filled the shoes of a project expeditor, project manager and superintendent. Bart has 20 years of experience as a superintendent. |

Bob Browder

Bob Browder, a 1976 graduate of Baylor University, has been in the construction industry his entire working career. From 1978 to 2003, Bob served in various roles of increasing responsibility with BFW Construction Co., Ltd., a large Texas construction company that specialized in healthcare, higher education and K-12 facilities. During his years with BFW, he held positions of President, Executive Vice President, Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors.
BFW was a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner Construction, the largest construction firm in the U.S., from 1978 to 1993. In 1993, Bob and two other BFW principals purchased BFW from Turner and successfully operated the company until 2003 when it was acquired by Skanska USA Building, Inc., the U.S. operations of the Swedish-based international construction giant, Skanska. Bob served as Executive Vice President of Skanska USA with responsibilities for its Texas operations from 2003 until he retired in 2006.
Since retiring from Skanska, Bob has provided consulting services to small and large construction companies in Texas and serves on the Boards of Directors of several real estate development, banking, and manufacturing firms.

F. Alexander Kirkland

Alex Kirkland joins ECCI as a member of its executive leadership team. Alex recently retired from the United States Navy serving in the active and reserve components for 27 years. He graduated from Del Mar College and Corpus Christi State University where we earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1981. He also earned a Master of Science Degree in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego School of Business.
He has been actively involved in the Corpus Christi community. He served as Chairman and Board Member of the City Airport Advisory Board. He has been a vestry member and Senior Warden for Church of the Good Shepherd and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Saint James Episcopal School. He is also a member of the Policy Council for the Una Chapman Cox Foundation. |
